Annum Salman is the debut Author of her poetry book, Sense Me, which revolves around the theme of identity; encompassing topics such as gender inequality, mental health, race, culture, and love. Born and bred in Pakistan, Annum completed her MA in creative writing from The University of Surrey. Along with being a popular spoken word poet in Pakistan as well as in the UK, she has also served as Creative Head at a PR firm for years, specialising in marketing strategies for top brands such as Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser and Engro. Offering PR services to authors has been a passion that grew more so after learning about the ever evolving publishing industry, what its like in Pakistan compared to other countries, and the continued success of her own book.
